Trials / demos: Trials and demos are a great idea if you can easily take a portion of your finished product and provide it for free. Doing this will allow your leads to experience your product with very little commitment on their part. The downside of using trials or demos, is that since they are not stand-alone content, they can be perceived as incomplete offerings.  
The basics of the modern digital marketing funnel include four key stages (similar to AIDA): attract, nurture, convert and delight. However, to accommodate the many different kinds of marketing projects required to compete in today’s fierce online marketing battleground, the funnel steps have expanded. First of all, Avon “has” been. Second, Avon really needs to work on their appeal to a younger generation. Then, as the people continue along and take the next steps, some of them drop out, and the size of the crowd thins or narrows. How to get started: If you want to do this at a conference, start by making sure that it’s ok with the organizers if you share content on your website with the people you are speaking to. Most of the times they will be ok with it and give you some pointers on what you can or can’t do, but for certain large conferences you might not be allowed to do this. To get people to visit your website, create content that is highly relevant to the topic of your talk and share it using a URL address that’s easy to write down or remember, as people will likely need to go back on their notes to visit your site. 
Particularly for SaaS companies, it might make sense to directly ask a first-time visitor to opt for a free trial. Buffer is a great example of this. I do have a few friends who make a bit of side money with selling DoTerra and Norwex, but I also think they mostly do it to get wholesale prices on products they want to purchase anyway. It’s incredibly difficult to actually make a profit unless you’re willing to pour your entire life into the company.

While your revenue and number of customers will tell you how much money your funnel is generating, your bottom-of-the-funnel conversion rate is an indicator of how effective are your tactics at converting leads into customers. How you obtain and calculate this conversion rate will depend largely on the tactic you decide to use. For example, if you are doing a product launch with an email sequence, you might want to look at the percentage of subscribers who became customers during the launch. I have a product-based business (skincare to be precise) and I’ve been doing a lot of research on sales funnels over the past few days but only ever come across examples for service-based businesses and struggle to apply those to my business. A couple of weeks ago, I returned from Boise, Idaho where I got a chance to hang out with, Russell Brunson. If you don’t know who he is, you’ve probably been hiding under a rock for the past couple of years. Brunson is the founder of a software company called ClickFunnels. Today, that company has grown into a behemoth and has shot past $100 million in sales and nearly 60,000 subscribers to its SaaS platform.
However, when you succeed, you can definitely make lots of money online. Not just a little bit. Some successful ad agencies are making five to six figures per month in revenue. That’s significant by anyone’s standards. But then there’s people like Nicholas Kusmich who are absolutely crushing it in the ad agency game. Just ensure that you do your due diligence before you sign up to anyone’s program or buy anyone’s course to start your own agency.

Thanks for the list. As with anything it’s a matter of opinion and you have to put in the work to see results. If you’re just doing parties in your hometown, that’s probably not going to work. With all the tools you have in the Internet you can really promote whatever it is you’re selling. The sales funnel doesn’t need to be complicated to make you money. Simplicity works best, so if you have that has a lot of steps, go through it and see if there are some you can remove. One key is a to have good communication with your leads, provide them with information about what you are selling, engage with them, answer questions, let the evaluate and decide. Another is to make sure you have enough leads in your Stage 1 section, otherwise, if you don’t have enough people to trickle down through this first part, you waste resources in the other sections. Be sure to have enough resources delegated to the rest of the funnel, as well, to convert those that trickle down.
If someone tells you no, but there was something in the dialogue that suggested they might be interested in the future, ask if you can put them on your mailing or email list, or if you can call in six months to follow up. Many will give you their email or phone number just because they want to be nice. Steps in Sales Funnel – This lays out for you, point-by-point, each page and step the customer goes through on their way to making a purchase. In some cases, it also works to point out some of the follow-up steps and “if-then” scenarios. For instance, how does the funnel respond “intelligently” to get prospects who didn’t buy to come back to the website?
I highly recommend you at least have one funnel in place to generate customers in your business, whether it's a service or product-based business, because it will help keep your company safe. It will help keep you safe from the FTC coming in and saying, “Look, you just have a big down line full of people that only buy the product themselves. You don't have real customers. Thus you're not a real business.”

But, when you see such great results you can’t help but tell people. I love working for this company!! I have worked for Tupperware, Amway, Jafra, It Works, I never made money like I am with doTerra. In time I would like to branch out into multiple niches, but am unsure whether I can do this using one company name. If I am effectively emailing various lists (who have bought different niche products and are categorised into separate email lists), would it be best to use different email addresses and company names for each niche? I am unsure what to do, as I do not wish to appear to deceive anyone, but do not want to be protrayed as an expert in every area.

Research (aka, investigate solutions) - The discovery stage continues with consumer research. Visitors are often focused on consuming content and learning more about the company and its products. They are looking to understand why they should choose a particular company. At this stage, the goal is not to overwhelm the consumer with offers, but provide the necessary information to be considered.
Entrepreneurs are a rare breed. There are countless people in the world who have a business, or a plan, or an idea that they want to implement and make into a reality. However, there are so few people that actually take their visions and make them into something that can actually be molded and shaped into a business or empire. Webinars: With webinars, you have an engaged audience that’s akin to being in the same room with others while pitching whatever product or service you’re offering. This is a great way to sell high-ticket products and services as well. Sure, lead to application to phone call is great, but a webinar really sells like there is no tomorrow. Most people also like to combine the webinar with an application, pushing them to the app after the webinar is completed and closing the deal on a phone call.
