I have been in network marketing for 20 years having good success, I have not used CF yet, but for what I see this could be a great marriage. The advantage of network marketing over affiliate and even continuity programs is the fact that some of the people you sponsor will continue growing there business creating a return on your money much bigger than any other program, example, if just couple of people see the vision, you can suddenly have a stream of new people coming without spending any more money in ads. Even today most of the growth of network marketing comes from the personal contacts, and with social media, the circle of influences are much bigger! The purpose for me with CF is to add new center of influences where I can leverage my business many times over. I see CF as a powerful tool to increase circle of influences!
Creating funnels (sales) is designed to take your prospects through a process that starts with them “opting in” (typically with their name and email). It is a small commitment. It’s them, basically raising their hands and saying, yes, I would like some more information and I’m willing to give you my contact information in return for it. Are you seeing how powerful this can be?
Expansion (aka, upsell and cross-sell) - Ideally, customers should not only be satisfied with their original purchases, but also become repeat consumers. Marketing campaigns should be built around upselling customers higher-end products and cross-selling them complimentary products. Expanding your relationship with consumers is easier if they view your brand as dependable and as an authority. Your ongoing communications should telegraph this message loudly and clearly.
MailChimp is a freemium email marketing tool. Similar to Wufoo, they offer a free plan (good through 2,000 contacts). A bit of background: MailChimp grew their business significantly when they decided to go freemium. How? At the bottom of every email, it would say something like Powered by MailChimp. Every customer email sent helped to spread the word. It created a kind of viral loop.
A couple of weeks ago, I returned from Boise, Idaho where I got a chance to hang out with, Russell Brunson. At some point, a visitor becomes a potential customer when they consider whether the service or product offered is a match for their needs. This may happen during their first visit to your website or months later. We often get lost in conversions and forget about the number of returning visitors. Our content and its messaging should speak to consumers who may be on-the-fence or just doing research at the time and return later for their purchase. A single serving message that attempts to get the visitor to convert now is usually the case for the majority of websites content. We lose sight that not everyone will convert on the first visit. However, at this point in the online marketing funnel, we want to make our unique value proposition clear and provide information that the user needs to make the purchasing decision.
