I’ve been reading some really interesting articles about how retargeting can drive customers through the sales funnel. I found a great piece at Treepodia which is in itself a retargeting/dynamic video remarketing company. I’m wondering if any of you guys have had a similar experience with the 4 stages of the sales funnel (introduction, exploration, interest and conversion), and whether your click through rates have also been effective with dynamic video retargeting?
For example, let’s say your business has a blog and social media accounts it uses to get on a potential customer’s radar. From there, you encourage people to download an eBook in exchange for their email and drop them into an email drip that promotes an upcoming webinar. At the webinar, you sell people on your product or service, which convinces them to submit a lead form, work with your sales team and ultimately make a purchase.

Think about someone who owns property. Maybe they have a few houses, nothing massive, but they rent them out. The rent pays the mortgage, tax, rental agency, maintenance and some is saved. But they still have $100 per house net profit. That means, even if the landlord does NOTHING for a month, each house will generate $100 pure profit. Over a few houses, that’s enough to cover all your living expenses and more.

In time I would like to branch out into multiple niches, but am unsure whether I can do this using one company name. If I am effectively emailing various lists (who have bought different niche products and are categorised into separate email lists), would it be best to use different email addresses and company names for each niche? I am unsure what to do, as I do not wish to appear to deceive anyone, but do not want to be protrayed as an expert in every area.

Conversion rate: This is a really important metric. While your revenue and number of customers will tell you how much money your funnel is generating, your bottom-of-the-funnel conversion rate is an indicator of how effective are your tactics at converting leads into customers. How you obtain and calculate this conversion rate will depend largely on the tactic you decide to use. For example, if you are doing a product launch with an email sequence, you might want to look at the percentage of subscribers who became customers during the launch. Clearly, if you’re a fervent proponent of ClickFunnels, why not build sales funnels for a side income? Not only is this a great part-time gig, but you can actually generate a substantial amount of money doing this. Seasoned funnel builders like, say, Stephen Larsen, can charge a significant amount of money to build that funnel. Why? Because there’s a clear return on investment here.
How to get started: Gather a list of contacts from the groups mentioned above and email them to share the content you’ve created. Important: If your list is large and you plan on emailing them in bulk, you must give them an option to unsubscribe or stop receiving emails from you. An “unsubscribe” button is auto-generated on most email service providers.   
It just takes research to find successful funnels to model. According to Russell, a funnel is the greatest salesman because it never takes a lunch break and works around the clock. It’s a nice sounding idea that works well for Russell, but the ability to pick up the phone and close a customer is not something that I’m going to completely replace with a funnel.
Why does the message matter so much? Well, most of you already know that fancy designs or graphics or websites don’t work on their own these days. Today, it’s about the copy.
