Luckily for anyone interested, ClickFunnels has a program that will introduce you to the lucrative world of affiliate marketing. However, the observant and aware individual who dives into the bootcamp is going to notice that it is excellent training for online business in general. There’s a reason for that. It teaches you the basics of building a following, developing effective marketing, and split testing your work to get the maximum results you can. It takes you step by step through the processes of building your list, designing your strategy, and how to find an offer that works.

A downline distributor is a recruited distributor from whom the sponsor (the one who recruited them) gains commissions. Every compensation plan involves recruiting other distributors to help sell the company’s product. Some compensation plans provide higher commissions for recruiting successful distributors (quality over quantity). Other plans only focus on simply hiring more distributors (quantity over quality). Overall, downline distributors help sponsors gain extra commissions. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/rSL_o7TQnvc/maxresdefault.jpg

Information products: Any type of information product can easily be sold with ClickFunnels. You can use a variety of pre-configured templates or even purchase a template in their marketplace. It’ll save you the time and hassle of having to design an entire funnel from scratch. Even though this doesn’t take too long when you know what you’re doing, if you’re new or just want to take a shortcut, this is an easy way to do it. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZTvo3CGcPmY/maxresdefault.jpg

I don’t care where doTERRA in ranked. The oils are good, but the company SUCKS. It is all built on big bloggers. Don’t have a big blog – you’re going to make pennies while others demand you make a minimum $100 a month order. The company itself has great customer service, but try to reach compliance or tell them that your uplines are making fake accounts or ordering off multiple people in the downline just to ensure they make bonuses and NO ONE listens. It’s supposedly geared to help the underdog succeed – this is a gimmick.
But, with your points above, it really can be that ‘simple’. It pains me to see, as I saw this morning on facebook, a networker talk about a new prospect that will “change their lives”. Can’t get hung up on any one. You’ll see great people you know will Kill it in this business do nothing but make excuses and lay blame, and others surprise everyone and buckle down!
Amazing article. One question I have is about how to avoid the risk of FB terminating an ad account for using it to drive traffic to this kind of landing page. The first part of that question is, do you think a simple opt-in page like you described (with no content other than a "hook" that FB might argue is deceptive) would result in the ad being disapproved and possibly the ad account at risk of being terminated? The second part of the question is do you think the FB ad itself would need to be toned down, or do you think it's safe to just repeat the hook? It seems like FB is getting more and more strict about this kind of thing. https://mk0sprout24comgnv2te.kinstacdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/powtoon-webinar-registration-campaign.png
If your new customers are greeted by a thoughtful onboarding process, personal attention, and all the resources they need to use your product successfully, they’re more likely to confirm to themselves that they made the right choice. And when they’re confident, they’re more likely to pass on their satisfaction to others in the form of recommendations and product endorsements. If, on the other hand, your new customers experience disappointment after their purchase, they’re more likely to request refunds, write negative reviews, and recommend that others in their social circles purchase from your competitors.
For that reason, while you might want to experiment with tracking all the different metrics below (or any others that you think could be valuable), it’s best to choose a core 2-5 to focus your attention on. You can always add more later, but be sure you’re actually making changes based on the data you generate from these few metrics before expanding your data operations.

MLM has stretched its sticky fingers out into just about every product market out there, so it’s kinda hard to do something new nowadays. But Jamberry Nails did it. Their adhesive, custom nail designs BLEW UP when they hit the direct sales floor. They built up an army of over 100,000 consultants in the time it takes most people to get a mediocre pay raise at their 9-5. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/xgP0Ksaj9Ws/hqdefault.jpg
Hey Middle man took my line. As I was reading this I was thinking you hit the nail on the head. My brother got involved with one and so did my uncle Amway. I know my brother made no money. I have to check with my uncle but I am certain he didn’t. The only reason these companies get away with it, and it’s not illegal is because they have a product/. They don’t sell their products, they sell the pyramid part of it. And the meeting they go do are motivational meetings with their bible Rich Dad Poor Dad. I call them their “Rah Rah” meetings
Conversions have to happen everywhere. No matter what you’re selling. Whether you need to display a portfolio that will help you convert prospects into buyers. Or, whether you’re building out your own sales funnel and creating the entire process yourself with all the email sequences, up-sells, one-time offers and so on. No matter what, you need  to learn how to convert. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/544c1964e4b0dd27d701dd68/t/566b96fddc5cb43cee1bee22/1449891582538/clickfunnels-pricing.jpg
Got it. Thanks Pete. You might like to know we’re updating our 6-Figure Funnel training right now to tailor it one version of it to product businesses, and the other version to professional service companies like your’s. We’ve also relaunched our free sales funnel checklist w/ video training. You can pop-in your email address to get that on this page.
A few noteworthy points on this list… The only companies considered for this list are U.S.A. based; and if you click on each and every company linked above, what you will not find should be as interesting to you (and as revealing) as what you will find. There are no travel companies, only two technology companies (ACN and 5LINX), just one service company (Legal Shield), and 22 health and wellness companies. Even Amway, whose core product line still includes soap, really got started by way of the wellness revolution! Read this book by Paul Zane Pilzer and you’ll understand why nutrition, weight management, and skincare products continue to drive the trends in the network marketing industry to this day.
But, ClickFunnels gives you access to building the most powerful weapon in the marketer’s arsenal and that is the sales funnel. A sales funnel gives you the opportunity to not only sell a single product, but to sell additional products that align with the offer or offer upgrades that will increase the average cart value and the overall value that you’re offering your customers. By utilizing a sales funnel, you have the opportunity to make more than any static sales page or website. It will dramatically change how you operate with your business going forward if you manage it correctly and know what you’re doing. By studying material that Russell Brunson offers, you’ll have a chance to really hone and develop your skills.
Not all MLM companies are created equal. Many see an initial burst of success followed by a gradual tapering off of profits, causing them to collapse and go out of business. MLM companies that succeed have sound business models, both for those who run the company and for those who sell product and recruit new sales agents. There are many sites devoted to MLM rankings, creating lists of companies likely to provide a return on investment to sales agents interested in the industry.
If you’re great at this, you could easily make money online as a ClickFunnels Certified Partner. When you’re a certified partner, you have way more credibility to sell funnels. But you’ll have to go through the process of certification. It’s not complicated, but it will cost you some time and money. Both of those things are often in short supply. But this is a great investment no matter how you look at it.
As non-employees, participants are not protected by legal rights of employment law provisions. Instead, salespeople are typically presented by the MLM company as "independent contractors" or "independent business owners". However, participants do not possess a business in the traditional legal sense, as the participants do not hold any tangible business assets or intangible business goodwill able to be sold or purchased in a sale or acquisition of a business. These are the property of the MLM company.
You've probably heard horror stories about people ending up with a garage full of expensive water filters or other items. This happens because only other distributors will purchase the product at that price. Your product or service must fill a real need at a fair price, and there should be a large untapped market for it. In other words, it must provide tremendous value so that the customer is the biggest winner.

The only thing that is stopping you is yourself at this point. Your ambition and your drive are the only things that you personally have to worry about. So many entrepreneurs lack motivation and discipline to do what needs to be done regarding their business when they’re first starting out. It isn’t until desperation and necessity kick in that people are willing to do what is necessary. Start out strong with the kind of endurance and drive necessary for the road ahead and we’ll help you with education and software.
"Network marketing" and "multi-level marketing" (MLM) have been described by author Dominique Xardel as being synonymous, with it being a type of direct selling.[6] Some sources emphasize that multi-level marketing is merely one form of direct selling, rather than being direct selling.[23][24] Other terms that are sometimes used to describe multi-level marketing include "word-of-mouth marketing", "interactive distribution", and "relationship marketing". Critics have argued that the use of these and other different terms and "buzzwords" is an effort to distinguish multi-level marketing from illegal Ponzi schemes, chain letters, and consumer fraud scams.[25]

PPC ads are always a great addition to an online business, but a PPC ad with a landing page and webinar is better. Let's take that another step after the webinar and ad cross-selling to a purchase, then an additional upsell after the initial purchase. Then repeat the process over and over again, until the customer reaches the very top of the "staircase" you have created. Now, a customer that wanted to buy the shipping for a free book, just made a purchase for your $25,000 a year coaching program.
The thing is that we are all the sum of our beliefs. If you don’t believe in something, and you look for enough evidence that it isn’t true, you’ll find it. Alternatively, if you believe wholeheartedly that you can make money online, you’ll find a way. Jim Rohn once said that “If you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.”
Entry sources – Monitoring the sources from which people are entering your funnel can be useful data to track, as it gives you ideas for expanding the reach of your marketing campaigns. If, for example, you see that a large number of your prospects are coming from a single guest blog post you did, seeking out similar guest author positions can be an easy way to increase your overall sales.
The most basic step towards a successful digital marketing funnel begins with awareness. In order to engage with your brand, your audience first needs become aware of its existence. The digital route improves the chance of word-of-mouth and gives far better results than the traditional route in terms of generating awareness. When people share your content, the effects last longer than advertising.
If you haven't, you aren't alone. New data from HubSpot reveals that 68% of B2B organizations have yet to identify what their sales funnel is. A lot of business owners spend too much time chasing leads, but how do you know which leads or hot or cold? You don't, unless you have a system in place for attracting, keeping, and growing your customer base.
Appreciate the hard work studying this… Im apart of the #1 company on there Advocare… have been for 7 years and one of the higher paid single guys in the nation… I just have to disagree with “over priced Products” comment. There is a mark up on every product in the world… Our products actually work which is why those endorsers you mentioned turn down high level incomes with other companies to endorse us for a stipend of products per month. Advocare has numerous people making a great profit and even more just enjoying a product they would pay double what they do for to feel the way they do. Success rate isnt low my friend… Its just the quit rate is through the roof. Highly recommend everyone seeing this and you sir to watch “Rise of the Entrepreneur” by Eric Worre on Itunes to get some serious facts about the MLM industry. Thanks for all the research and blessings!

Reviews are the second golden ticket for middle of the funnel digital marketing—92 percent of online consumers read them, and 88 percent of them trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. Here’s one probable explanation why: consumers don’t trust advertising and marketing anymore, if they ever really did. Now, it’s no longer shut-your-eyes-and-hope-for-a-good-refund-policy—people can effectively shop based on others’ experiences (which is one reason customer service is so important).

When you have the answers right in front of you with simple application, then you have a chance to make the life you’re dreaming become a reality. A few people do make big money from MLMs. And these people are often trotted out in promotional videos, celebrated at annual events, and very publicly ‘rewarded’ with prizes like prestigious cars (although these ‘prizes’ aren’t as generous as they first appear – you simply get a discount on the lease which you must take out in your own name, and if your sales fall, the discount ends…). You also need to promote the company on the car they ‘give’ you.

The major defining difference between other companies and MLM, is that they don’t mass market themselves, spending millions of dollars on television, radio and internet ads, but instead allocate that portion of their budget to pay hard working distributors who pound the pavement, form personal al relationships with clients, advocate their product, and hence donthe “marketing” for them. https://winningwp.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/ClickFunnels-Funnel-Builder.png
Hi Miles, I've been following you on youtube for a while now 🙂 Really good and valuable information! I have a question for you which I could not figure out an answer to yet. Let's say I picked a niche and I found a number of products to promote. Do I need to have a website/blog for the niche? In addition to a funnel (or funnels). Or I can build it later? The reason I am asking is that at the moment I have no idea what content I need. Hope it makes sense. Thanks, SV
Miles, Great tutorial!! I absolutely need to change my mindset. Question: If I wanted to promote an offer, would it be ok to use a contest or giveaway, then add the affiliate link to the thank you page after they have given their email address? like " thanks so much for entering the contest, BTW, do you have a XXX issue? if so check out the button below. https://i.ytimg.com/vi/-Ea_KhdogpQ/maxresdefault.jpg
I thought That your article was very good. My wife recently joined this company called World Ventures and me being me I figured it would be like some of the other companies that she has joined. You know a bunch of women companies scentsy, 31, etc but the reason I took notice is when she made 500. I know it’s not much but i know if she can make that faster than she has with some of the others she has joined without my help then maybe this thing is the real deal. What do you know about it? I have met some of the people and they seem genuine unlike some of these others like Amway and I don’t feel like it’s all about freaking selling like most of the others. Just shoot it to me straight.
Hi Jeremy great article. Here’s my take for what it is worth, after working 50 years for the bank making not so much money, having to accommodate there time schedule ,negotiated vacations and seeing very few people advance to 6 figure incomes,I’m somewhat intrigued by the idea of using my retirement years looking at mlm as a part time endeavour . Obviously I put a lot of blood sweat and tears into my previous job,so I’m not expecting to make my millions in a couple years in mlm, but I like the (do it in your own time) idea. If I find a product I like and would use anyway why not? I also like the idea that the potential is there biased on your own efforts. Am I wrong What do you think?

If you can’t drive traffic, you can’t really earn money whatsoever. Period. End of sentence. So you have to figure out where that traffic is going to come from because it’s the lifeblood of your business. Your potential to generate an income is going to be directly tied to your ability to get prospects to visit your landing pages, offers and sales funnels. https://winningwp.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/ClickFunnels-Create-Custom-Funnel.png

The idea is to condition your users. Don’t push towards selling only your products, make it a point to create comfortability with users thus allowing a relationship to form. Make contents that are relevant, timely, and tends to help users. Or engage in creating games or mini games so your site or page could be deemed as not only informative but also engaging in a good way.

I totally agree, Mary. You can lose soooo much more just by opening up a small storefront business. I was in the Spa Industry and then the economy tanked in late 2008. I did not renew my lease in 2009. Lost my several hundred thousand dollar build-out. Lost so much more than taking an MLM business seriously. Even if I would have front loaded on a ton of product, I still would have been better off. People spend $750 and get some business cards then do nothing and blame MLM.
